The idea of the foundation is the direct response to the personal experience of a survivor, a vivacious and irrepressible lady, who survived the killer disease (cancer).

The Atinuke Cancer Foundation (CAC/IT/NO/96257), popularly known as LET’S KILL IT!, was established in October 2016. The foundation is the brainchild of a resilient survivor whose journey started when she was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2014 amidst the scary outburst of the Ebola virus which was discovered in Nigeria that same year. She serves as a beacon of hope for countless others. Having faced and overcome this life-threatening illness, the founder turned her personal experience into a mission to educate, advocate, create awareness, support and inspire others . Her determination to demystify the fear surrounding cancer and promote early detection and treatment is the driving force behind the foundation.
As a response to the growing burden of cancer in Nigeria, other developing nations, and the world at large. The ACFoundation represents a sincere commitment to raising awareness about cancer, a disease that has reached alarming proportions in our society. Many Nigerians are diagnosed too late due to ignorance, fear, neglect, poverty, or a lack of awareness about the importance of regular medical check-ups.
The stigma and fear associated with cancer often prevent people from seeking knowledge and understanding about the disease. Tragically, many only encounter its harsh realities through the suffering or loss of loved ones, and once the grief fades, life resumes without meaningful action. The Atinuke Cancer Foundation changed this narrative by empowering individuals and communities with information, resources, and support.
